Excellent store with a very good assortment, and to my surprise, wonderful staff. The girls are always helpful, providing advice and explanations, and what I appreciated the most was their honesty. I bought two cans of red caviar, got distracted, was in a rush, and ended up forgetting them at the checkout. I decided not to go back because it was a long drive. But a week later, when I returned to restock on some goodies, they gave me back my caviar. They had kept it in the fridge the whole time, waiting for me to pick it up. They could have said nothing was left behind, since I could have forgotten it anywhere else, etc. But they acted honestly and fairly. That was really nice!
I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this place, you can find all Russian products there.
Good selection for Eastern European and Russian groceries. Found some Czech beer too!
Clean, welcoming, and full of eastern European staples and treats. I was happy to find still reasonably priced bread not available in Austin. I like the local made pirojki with cabbage, but the one with lamb turned out to be full with grizzles. My other issue was discovering later on, at home, an unreadable expiration date on the package with something that I thought was a salted salmon but turned out to be a herring in a special marinade with food coloring. Yuck.
This is a great place to buy Ukrainian and Eastern European groceries. I have found the items here to be healthier than many USA alternatives. The food is very high quality and the staff are helpful. I recommend if you are not familiar with Ukrainian or Eastern European foods to try Arbat.
This store is amazing!!!! There is so much food and drinks to choose from it’s awesome! They get restocks really often so the whole store is always stocked. Definitely childhood snacks that I forgot about, that they have. They also have dumplings that I absolutely love and will keep buying them. And close to Christmas and New Years they have different candy presents to buy from; there is so many different styles I can’t even decide which one I love the most. Also their staff members are so nice and friendly, when you ask them for the item you are looking for without a doubt they will help you find it. Absolutely recommend this store to others!!! Great store!! Great job Arbat Market, their staff members, and the owners!!!
True Gem in the heart of the Katy Mills Mall area, International and Eastern European food cooked by amazing ladies, An amazing little oasis in the stair and boring traditional American Grocery stores!! Absolutely must recommend
We love to check out specialty grocery stores and everything we got was delicious! This place was clean, friendly and well stocked. We bought excellent fresh bread, freshly made food, imported snacks and frozen dumplings which an associate helped pick out for us because I’m unfamiliar with Eastern European food. Definitely will come back to try more things, especially since it was fairly priced for import in my opinion.
